General Forum Rules And Guidelines
Respect for fellow members and the quality of posts is of utmost importance here. You MUST agree to treat others with basic courtesy at all times. All members are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that promotes a variety of races, nationalities, creeds, religions and sexes on total respect of each member of our community. Personal attacks such as ?stupid, idiot, moron etc.? and the likes will never be tolerated. Continual harassment and or ?baiting? of a member of the community or members of the staff will also result to sanctions and possible banning from the forum. We reserve the right to edit, move or remove any content from these forums at any time for any reason without notice or liability. We reserve the right to ban or revoke privileges of any member at any time. Thank you very much.
REVISED FORUM RULES 1. Threads can only be viewed by Registered Users.
2. Do not post advertisements in the forum. Advertisements are not allowed.
3. Post topics in the correct threads and sub-forums.
4. You will not use the site to violate any Philippine or International laws, nor discuss or promote illegal activities. Posts will be removed and proper sanctions will be imposed.
5. Avoid off-topic discussions. Post a separate topic in the proper thread instead. Also, avoid posts that will take-over the discussion from the original topic. Posts preventing other members to join the discussion should be avoided (e.g. posts that can be understood by only a few members).
6. Avoid creating a new topic which has already been posted. Use the search function of the forum to check if an existing or similar topic already exists. Members can only create a similar topic to an existing one only if that existing topic is already archived.
7. Using "ALL ITALICIZED", "ALL CAPS" and “ALL BOLD” for Forum Topic Titles or Message Posts are strictly NOT allowed.
8. Avoid using "Text Speak" or "SMS Language" (e.g. Tyo n s psyaln), camel-case text (ThiS Is a sAMplE oF CamEl cASe TeXt) and all COLOREDTEXT in posts is not allowed as it makes reading forum posts difficult. (Give yourself a favor and know how to type words correctly. Posts are not limited to 160 characters.)
9. Use descriptive topic title/subject relevant to the post.
10. Avoid very short, inappropriate, and nonsense posts (e.g. Ok yun! / ok yun! / that’s good!). Also, avoid excessive use of smilies or emoticons. Smilies or emoticons must not exceed 25% of your message post (an emoticon is considered as a word). Therefore, message post made up of only emoticons is not allowed.
11. Avoid nonsense topics or topics which are not really meant for any discussion. This will be considered as spamming.
12. Posting same messages at different topics multiple times is considered spam and strictly NOT allowed. Also, several posts in succession in a topic is strictly NOT allowed unless you are quoting responses. If you need to add something in your previous and recent post, edit that post instead.
13. Articles copied from other websites must always contain an attribute link to the address of the copied article. Copy/Paste articles from other websites NOT worthy for discussion are NOT allowed.
14. (FOR STRICT COMPLIANCE) NEVER argue with moderator-related actions (e.g. closing a topic, moving a topic to a new category, etc.) and penalties given by administrators to reported violations in public. Any disagreement to moderator-related actions shall first be addressed to the moderator or administrator concerned privately (via a private message or email). Unresolved matters related to moderation must be submitted to the administrator (or other administrators) supported by the positions of both sides. Having an argument or debating, disagreeing, or discussing opposing or differing viewpoints against the personal opinions, suggestions or idea of moderators and administrators are ALLOWED.
15. Avoid adding unrelated and inappropriate images to forum posts.
16. Using languages or dialects other than English or Filipino is discouraged in order to give respect to other members who cannot read and understand other languages or dialects.
17. Be reasonable, courteous, and polite. Use common sense when joining any discussion. Show respect to other members so that they can show respect to you in return. Discussions should be kept within the spirit of fun, cooperation and information dissemination.
18. Avoid bullying other members. Any bullying whether explicit or implied will NOT be tolerated. Members who post for the sole reason of being disruptive may be subject to an immediate ban.
19. This is a family-friendly forum therefore the use of nude, shirtless, lewd, and profane images as your avatar is strictly prohibited.
20. You will not post, nor link to copyrighted content, unless the legal copyright-owners have made it freely available to the general public, or you have been given consent to do so. Members should also respect the bandwidth of other sites. Inline image tags linking to other sites without permission may be removed. If you quoted information from another web site, please post the source of the text and/or a courtesy link back to the source.
21. Duplicate or multiple accounts are not allowed. Any member creating duplicate accounts will face sanctions such as a ban.
22. No posting of Private numbers such as your cellphone numbers. If you want to exchange your cellphone / contact numbers, just PM the member you want to give your number to.
23. Avatars are of maximum 100px x 100px only.
Do not use these forums to advertise your products, services, web sites, or otherwise solicit business or web traffic from the membership as a whole. Spam will be removed. This rule applies everywhere within Jairusaquino.com, including the private message system. Links to your web site(s) are permitted in signatures. They should be of normal text size and may not contain, precede, or follow any additional marketing language. As per above, links to competing sites are prohibited and will be removed at the discretion of the moderators. Regular posters in good standing with Jairusaquino.com will be allowed to talk about their website once in a while. Spamming a number of forums
Disciplinary Actions
While Jairusaquino.com would love for all of its members to adhere to the Board Rules and Guidelines, we know that some members will not follow the rules. Rule violations have consequences as detailed below:
- Warning - for the first offense of any of the board guidelines
- 3-day suspension on the second occurrence of failing to comply with board guidelines.
- 10-day suspension on the third occurrence for failing to comply with board guidelines.
Members will either be warned or banned when found violating the rules. Bans can be temporary or permanent. Members will normally receive warnings prior earning a ban, but in some extreme cases a ban may be applied without warning. Every rule is enforced at the judgment of the moderators. moderators' decisions are final. Arguing with moderators in the open forums is strictly prohibited. Members who wish to question a Moderator must use the private message system. A Member who attempts to re-gain access to this web site while under temporary ban, will automatically incur a permanent ban. Some permanent bans can be rescinded if certain requirements are met - Contact the Administrator for more information about this.
